AKF is on the leading edge of Special Inspection programs and implementation in NYC. The city’s special inspections guidelines to record and document agencies’ inspection qualifications were finalized in 2013 and AKF was among the first in line to register after participating in the development of the special inspections requirements. By that time, AKF had become accredited and was already serving its clients with inspections performed under the new Special Inspections program.
We pride ourselves in supporting clients with highly responsive and qualified personnel to further a project’s completion objectives. AKF inspectors bring extensive experience to the review and inspection of a constructed facility to ensure adherence of approved project design documents and code. Upon construction completion, AKF and the owner’s project team work together to complete the DOB administrative paperwork necessary to obtain certificates of occupancy and close-out of a project.
