West End Yards

Nestled on the shores of Hodgson Brook and just a mile from downtown Portsmouth, West End Yards will be a mecca for work and play in the Portsmouth area. The new mixed use community will feature 250 apartments, retail, and office spaces, all focused being environmentally conscious and green living. The new development hopes to integrate fully into the Portsmouth community, providing a bike path for community use, public and private green spaces, and a public dog park.

To maintain consistency throughout the project, AKF provided MEP/FP, Code Consulting, Low Voltage and Energy+Performance for the residential portions of the project. This one-stop services integration allows our full range of experts to collaborate with the full project team during project development to provide Torrington Properties with the best value for their team.

The residential complex is approximately 235,000 SF and consists of 3 areas with 250 loft style, studio, one and two bedroom apartments, and townhouses. AKF is working closely with all team members for the successful design and construction of these spaces to ensure this community successfully links the owner’s dream of blending the new local personality of Portsmouth with its timeless history.
