Building Code Experts to Present Summer Workshop on IBC and Mass Timber

Attention Boston community! Join our building code experts Mariah Seaboldt and James Nicolora for a Boston Society for Architecture (BSA) Summer Workshop! Mariah and James will present "10th Edition Building Code Updates & Mass Timber Construction" at BSA on August 10, 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM.

This presentation reviews significant changes to the 10th edition of 780 CMR (2021 International Building Code) with consideration of the draft Massachusetts amendment package. One of the biggest changes expected in the 10th edition is the allowance for large-scale mass timber buildings so the discussion will also detail compliance requirements for mass timber buildings.
