Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a world renowned cancer hospital. Dana-Farber believes strongly in providing access to their cancer treatment expertise, regardless of your location. To help further this belief, they have created a network for satellite clinics throughout New England, allowing patients to receive Dana-Farber’s high level care without having to travel into downtown Boston.
One of their newest satellite treatment centers is located in Chestnut Hill. This new, 140,000 SF oncology and imaging fit-out is located on the 3rd and 4th floor of the Life Time Center, an easily accessible driving location. The new facility provides patients with doctors with Dana-Farber’s award-winning expertise with the latest technologies in cancer treatment. The facility houses individual patient exam rooms, support spaces, and doctors’ offices. For patients needing imaging services, the center also includes MRI and CT Suites, general x-ray and ultrasound suites, mammography suites, and nuclear medicine. The center also houses a minor procedure suite and clinical laboratory services. To provide a one-stop shop for patients, the center has a central and retail pharmacy for patients to obtain their required medicine before leaving. The facility as a whole was designed with patient care and comfort as the focus.
